RealBark Hunting Systems’ GBX blinds offer ultimate mobility with tower blinds

GBX6 stairsTree stands offer the advantage of elevation and improved visibility over ground hunting. A disadvantage is their fixed position. Once hung in the tree moving them requires disassembly and considerable time. The same scenario applies to most elevated, freestanding blinds. They require heavy lifting on the part of the hunter and time lost due to disassembly of the blind.

That’s not a problem with the GBX Hunting Blind from RealBark Hunting Systems. It’s a freestanding blind that can be easily transported to another location when deer movement is wide and varied.

“If you hunt on open land like I do in west Texas or virtually anywhere in the central Midwest then you know that deer don’t necessarily follow predictable routes,” says Rocky Hall, president. “Hunting on wide, open land makes moving a stand a must.”

That can be challenging with most elevated tree blinds, but not so with the GBX. The largest model in the series weighs in at a lightweight 120 pounds. At six feet in diameter it will fit inside the bed of a standard pickup truck. All it takes to move the blind is tilting it into the truck bed. Even with a 10-foot tower and ladder the total weight is only 307 pounds.

“With this system you can put your stand on the deer and not have to worry with finding a tree or the time it takes to completely disassemble some elevated blinds,” adds Hall. “You can move the blind and be back to hunting in no time at all.”

Another mainstay of hunting on prairieland is wind. Hall says wind isn’t a factor in hunting from the GBX.

“I’ve had deer walk 360 degrees near this stand in the wind,” he says. “The key is keeping the wind from passing thru the blind. If you need to have a window open only have one open on one side of the blind at a time.”

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThat’s easy with the GBX. It’s 360-degree viewpoint round design affords a totally unobstructed view of the hunting area. Eight spacious windows each measure 13 ½ inches wide by 10 inches in height. Windows are made of glass for longevity and ease in maintenance.
